After taking a break from posting for a couple of weeks. It feels right to get back into the groove. Perhaps not the same groove. Life is jamming right? We jam with this, we jam with that. Sometimes the bread gets stale because we never bother to eat the sandwich. And eventually the jam will change from marmalade to marmite and back again.
After 6 months writing poems for the King’s hospital community. Mostly for the patients, I have now written close to 140 poems for 100 individuals exactly. This feels like a point to pause and see where the project will lead to next.
During my recent time back up north in West Yorkshire, I used my mate’s studio to record a selection of the poems I have written so far. I will slowly release them over the summer as I focus on the background work that needs to be done in order to keep Proseom supported with the required resources and a well lit path into the future.
I’m also going to take time to re-engage with my pet project, my master poem, ‘Manchester United vs The Earl of Elgin & His Hypnotic Biscuit Tin’. Its a big old beast. One that I have not managed to slay as of yet, but it is weakening…
For now here are few photos of me in my mate, Jimbo’s, studio…

Jimbo has his own band called Echo Machine One. You can find them on Instagram. Have a listen and “get your head checked out”. Sleak vibe and very Bradford…
That’s all from me and my life of rhyme,
Until the next time…
